Dunstan Fibre Plus
Dunstan Fibre Plus provides optimum nutrition for the young growing horse in the form of a high fibre, low starch 10mm nut.
The low starch and quality fibre ingredients used in Dunstan Fibre Plus (Lucerne Chaff, Soya Hulls and Meadow Hay) serve two key purposes. Firstly, to benefit sound growth of the young horse and secondly to aid the digestive health of all horses. A low-starch feed will assist to minimise the negative effect of insulin on joint and cartilage development. In addition, the low-starch and high-fibre composition of Dunstan Fibre Plus will help to ensure good hindgut microflora activity and reduce the likelihood of digestive upsets associated with high-starch or low-fibre diets.
To many Stud Breeders, a high fibre intake is synonymous with a natural digestive process, and therefore an option of feeding additional fibre in pellet form is an alternative to the more conventional cereal mixes.
Dunstan Fibre Plus offers the combination of proven nutrient values to provide for good growth rates and sound bone and joint development, with the added benefit of quality fibre sources for natural digestive processes.
Minerals are provided as Glycinate Organic Trace Minerals resulting in improved bioavailability. This ensures maximum feed and nutrient utilisation, also aiding the development of the natural immune system.
Dunstan Fibre Plus includes Selenium Yeast, the organic form of Selenium, for optimum assimilation of this important trace mineral.
Natural Vitamin E is included for improved potency and bio-availability.
Mannan-Oligosaccharide and Aluminosilicate Clay are included as nutritional aids towards maintaining digestive physiology for the horse at pasture
