Dunstan Stallion Mix

Dunstan Stallion Mix is a high specification, complete feed formulated to meet the strict nutrient and energy demands of the Stallion during the breeding season.

The use of extruded cereals supplies a readily available energy source, but in a highly digestible form which is less likely to cause digestive upsets as a result of excessive fermentation in the caecum or hindgut.

The addition of Vegetable Oil also contributes valuable calories and assists with enhancing skin and coat condition.

Minerals are provided as Glycinate Organic Trace Minerals resulting in improved bioavailability. This ensures maximum feed and nutrient utilisation, also aiding development of the natural immune system.

Organic Selenium as Selenium Yeast is included to provide a highly available and safe form of Selenium.

The high level of Natural Vitamin E combined with the highly bio-available Organic Selenium assist to maintain normal muscle function and together act as antioxidants to protect body tissues from oxidative stress.

Natural Vitamin E is used due to its improved potency and bioavailability. Elevated levels of Vitamin E are appropriate in Dunstan Stallion Mix to take into account the reduced time out on pasture experienced by most Stallions.

The addition of a live yeast aids digestion and will assist in maintaining a more optimal hindgut pH, therefore contributing to overall health of the intestinal ecosystem of the horse.

Chromium yeast is included as an aid to overall energy utilisation.
